It is important to remember that special fluids such as KILL-BILL should not be left on the surface of the printhead for more than 10 minutes, otherwise the varnish will be damaged. After the second method has been flushed, we dig in the gratings using the OCP RSL. This service fluid will remove residuals of special fluid, eliminating damage to the surface to be cleaned.

With this second piece of bandage we wipe the lower part of the Canon print head from dirt (sometimes it is difficult to do with one piece)
If you need to first check the head for print. whether all ink colors pass through the head, it is advisable to wipe the lower head area more thoroughly so that dirt does not make its own corrections to the print.
If you rinse the head immediately. it is not necessary to wipe clean, all the same, during the washing process, this piece of bandage, as it gets dirty, changes.
We put the Canon print head with the lower platform on a pre-prepared (in 2.) piece of bandage moistened with MM or MB. Then we cut off a few more pieces of the bandage, crush one of them again into a ball and slightly moisten it, wipe the grilles of the intake holes (do not press hard, they can be damaged)
We remove the sealing gum of the ink tanks (it is advisable to rinse them under running water.Sometimes the dried ink on them solidifies into solid lumps and interferes with the sealing of the connection, which leads to air leakage and poor ink flow into the head), it is also advisable to wipe the places under the seals. We drip the flushing liquid, one drop at a time, onto the ink intake grids.
As soon as the liquid leaves (flows through the head), we drip more and more. As the piece of bandage on which the Canon print head stands gets dirty. change it to clean. As soon as the bandage stops staining ink flowing from the head with flushing liquid. flushing is almost complete.
Take a clean piece of bandage, roll it up (2.), moisten it strongly with flushing liquid and put the head on it for about an hour. If after an hour there are no bright traces of ink on the bandage, only weak stains. you can put the head in the printer and check the print quality (after doing cleaning two or three times in order to remove the remaining flushing liquid from the head).
If the flushing liquid does not pass on one or several flowers, but remains a drop on the grid, wait two. three minutes (drip on the rest, let them rinse), wipe off with a piece of bandage and drip again, and so on five times. six, as long as you have enough patience. If the drop on the grate no longer turns into the color of the ink, but it does not flow either (and more than an hour has passed since the beginning of washing). proceed to the actions recommended for severe blockages.
If you did not quickly rinse, or there is no time to waste away over the print head of a Canon printer and drip one drop of flushing liquid. go to the next procedure. soaking.
After step 6, we select pieces of tubes (5 centimeters long), of such a diameter that they are put on the ink receiving “pipes” with little effort, pour the flushing liquid into them and go about our business, from time to time looking at the liquid level in the tubes and as necessary, add and replace a piece of bandage under the head with a fresh one, as soon as it stops absorbing the liquid flowing out of the head and forming a puddle in a container with the head.
If the liquid level in one or more tubes does not decrease, or decreases much more slowly than in the rest. change the bandage under the head to a fresh one, add liquid to the tubes and leave for several hours (I usually leave it overnight).

I usually, with a strong blockage, after some colors have washed out and do not leave any more marks on the bandage, and in the tube put on the nozzle of the problematic color, the level of the flushing liquid does not decrease. I do this:
I remove the extra tubes, leaving only on the color that needs to be rinsed. I pick up an adapter from the tubes from the head branch pipe to the syringe (the syringe plunger is in the lower position). I change the bandage under the head to a clean one, moisten it strongly with flushing liquid (you can even pour liquid into the container with the head, but not very much so that the bottom of the container just closes (liquid level. 2-3mm)). Pressing the head against the moistened bandage (so that air is not sucked in), I smoothly extend the syringe plunger, trying to pull the flushing liquid through the head nozzles into the syringe.
I pour out the liquid that has been typed into the syringe (it is undesirable to reuse it), add fresh liquid under the head and repeat the broach, and so on two or three times, then I set it to soak for an hour so that the flushing liquid that gets into the head dissolves the dried ink properly, then again I stretch the liquid until it passes without effort (pay attention to the last time so as not to draw in air. the air lock in the head will interfere with the normal passage of the liquid), then I put the tubes on all colors again, fill them with flushing liquid and control how much the liquid level evenly decreases on different colors (except for black). If the level decreases approximately the same (it cannot decrease exactly the same, due to the different lengths and bends of the ink channels of different colors, inside the head). the difference is about five. eight millimeters. head flushed.
light extreme: pulling the flushing fluid with one hand (into the other with a camera), I do not recommend it. it is more convenient to do it with two hands.
The flush fluid drawn through the Canon print head is clean. you can check how well the liquid passes through the head by gravity.
I want to draw your attention: If, when trying to draw liquid into a syringe, it does not go at all, do the opposite, i.e. try to push the flushing fluid out of the syringe through the nozzles. not worth it if you do not have sufficient experience in flushing the heads. This can be done only if, when drawing in the liquid, it is even bad, but it goes. And here you need to take into account that the permissible pressure at which the head does not fail depends on the type of head, the degree of blockage, the clogged color (the black pigment nozzles can withstand greater pressure), the volume of the syringe (the larger the volume of the syringe, the less chances of damaging the head), liquid / air ratio in the syringe (air serves as a shock absorber).
If, after repeated pulling, the liquid still passes through with difficulty and you are absolutely sure that further soaking will not work (i.e. you have soaked the head for more than two days, but there is still no shift for the better), you can try to drive the liquid through the head in both directions (in the same position of the head, pressed against the napkin by the nozzles). broach / purge, when purging (forcing liquid from the syringe through the nozzles), it is not advisable to press strongly on the syringe plunger.
In practice, if a 10 ml syringe is used for purging, the syringe plunger is in the up position and there is an air gap (more than one division) between the plunger and the liquid in the syringe. the piston can immediately be lowered (smoothly, not jerkily) by no more than three divisions, and as the liquid passes, add one division at a time. For almost all types of heads (except BCI-21), the pressure generated during blowing will not lead to destruction of the nozzle plate. If there is no air gap in the syringe between the piston and the liquid, then the piston must be pressed very smoothly. in this case, any sharp pressing on the syringe plunger can create a pressure fatal for the head. And in general, from personal experience: when blowing out the head, the air gap in the syringe between the piston and the liquid gives a more gentle mode, compensates for the uneven movement of the syringe piston when pressed and smooths out pressure surges, so that even if the hand trembles, the head will remain unharmed.
If all of the above didn’t help. there is nothing to lose anyway, you have to go to extreme methods of cleaning the head, but before you move on to these methods. Consider if, with gentle flushing methods, the probability of damage to the head is minimal, then using the methods indicated below. the likelihood of damage to the head increases significantly.
Flushing the print head takes patience and perseverance. According to the statistics of the workshop in which I work, 14 out of 20 printheads are washed with gentle methods, and most of the mechanical damage to the printheads. the result of the haste of users trying to rinse the head quickly. Slightly clogged heads are usually flushed in one. three days, a strong blockage can be washed out for up to a week, from my practice. The longest flush of the eight-color QY6-0055 head lasted 18 days, usually after the first hour. two washes, a thorough examination of the nozzle pads, and a test print (not flushed to the end of the head) can determine whether it makes sense to waste time on further flushing. In order to make it easier for you to diagnose. at the beginning, it is described in detail about the most common malfunctions of the printheads, with examples of the resulting images, so that you do not waste time flushing the head, which flushing will no longer help.
And further. after applying the above flushing methods, dry the printhead before installing it in the machine. is not required (if, of course, everything was done carefully), but after the methods that will be indicated below. It is advisable to dry the head with a hair dryer (trying not to overheat too much, so that after warming up, you can hold the head with your hand without scalding), or even better. repeatedly. dry it, let it cool for 15.20 minutes and dry it again, and after the end of drying, it is advisable to drip it a little so that it does not turn out to be dry during the installation of the head into the device. better when there is flushing liquid in the ink channels of the head.
Everything is the same as during purging, only without an air gap in the syringe, between the piston and the liquid, and raise the head slightly above the container where the liquid will drain. Force on the syringe plunger. at your discretion. If you are not sure that you can feel the moment when the pressure on the syringe plunger is better not to increase. pick up the tube, between the syringe and the head, longer (10 centimeters 15), this compensates for the excessive pressure in the head, in addition, when the pressure is too high. the tube will just pop off. Everything around will be splashed with flushing fluid, but the head will be intact. The final flushing result can be determined by the jets of liquid flowing out of the head.
well, in general, the syringe must be completely filled with flushing liquid.
