Strong cleaning agent for flushing the print head

The most powerful printhead cleaner available today is Robik’s Kill Bill. It is the fastest to deal with very severe blockages in the print head, and also easily removes the formed ink clots.   • remove the print head from the printer and place it in a container;
  • we collect a cleaning agent into the syringe and push each color of the print head somewhere in a milliliter (through a fine filter);

  • we take an empty syringe and after the time has elapsed we pump out the cleaning agent back into the syringe (do it for each color);
  • we prepare a solution based on the cleaning Dr. Beckmann (it is better to make it in advance so that the mixture has time to infuse a little);
  • we take part of the cleaning agent and mix it with distilled water (proportion 1 to 2);
  • we pump the resulting composition back into the syringe and pump the print head;
  • we leave everything for about an hour, then we pump out the cleaning agent again, and so the procedure is repeated until positive rinsing results appear (every hour or two).

If you did not have time to completely rinse the print head in a day (and this happens regularly, since strong blockages are cleaned from one day to two weeks), then make a solution of 1 to 4 (cleaning / water). Pump the resulting mixture into the printhead and let it sit overnight. In the morning, flush the printhead again with the last solution and continue with the cleaning procedure.               How to dilute ink, why to do it and how much washes to add

              It is permissible to dilute ink only with a high-quality flushing liquid compatible with the print head, in a ratio of no more than 10 to 1. This should only be done to “revive” the ink with an expired shelf life, in extreme cases. to increase the drying time of the ink in the path and PG (at a cost decrease in print quality). In other cases, it is impossible to dilute the ink, especially with water.

              Attempting to use diluted ink will void the warranty not only from the printer manufacturer, but also from the vendors of alternative consumables. Diluting ink, you act at your own peril and risk, with the possibility of ruining the print head. As mentioned above, there are only two good reasons:

              • The ink was bought and opened more than six months ago. This is exactly how much it is supposed to serve as an open can of dye. Then the ink starts to thicken, so you should throw it away and replace it with new ones.               • Dilute no more than 1 in 10! Add 5-7% of the dye volume with service fluid. Do not need anymore.

              Depending on your printer, you may be able to print with black ink when the color ink cartridge is empty.
