How to disassemble Samsung Galaxy A5

Samsung Galaxy A5

Samsung Galaxy A5 is a new product of the company, representing the latest line of smartphones “Galaxy A”, which received excellent technical parameters in combination with stylish design and premium materials for the body. The company itself is positioning the Galaxy A5 as a youth gadget that should attract a young geek audience. It is expected that this particular smartphone will become the most popular in this line, as it is the most balanced device, combining the golden ratio of “price-quality-performance”.

At the first glance at a smartphone, even if you close the manufacturer’s logo, any user who is at least somehow familiar with the world of mobile devices will say that this is a device from Samsung: the classic forms of the Korean giant in accordance with the new design direction (more direct mowing lines and less rounding) will give it away.

However, it was not without uniqueness. Galaxy A5, like its “brothers”, became the first phones that are completely made of metal and do not have a removable back cover, which is completely unusual for the company’s smartphones. In the hand, such a phone lies comfortably, the solidity of the structure is felt.

Slots for a memory card and a SIM card are located on the side and are closed with caps that can be opened with a paper clip. Despite the metal construction, the smartphone is very thin and light. its dimensions are 139.3 x 69.7 x 6.7 mm and weighs 123 grams. You can choose from 5 variants of the body pattern: navy blue, white, gray, light blue and pink.

The entire front panel is occupied by a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, with a pixel density of 294 ppi. It is worth remembering that the phone is positioned in the upper range of the average price niche, so this parameter is quite justified. over, such a resolution will be more than enough for such a display, and the point density is quite high for HD. The viewing angles, color reproduction and shade depth are great. Samsung has perfected its OLED matrices.

The technical characteristics of the phone also confirm the connection to the upper range of the mid-price niche. The Samsung Galaxy A5 has a new 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 processor with four Cortex-53 cores and an operating frequency of 1.2 GHz, and the video chip here is Adreno 306. This hardware will be enough for games, multimedia and work. you will not experience lack of performance in everyday tasks. The amount of RAM is also not small. 2 GB.

As for the internal storage, this is 16 GB of space, of which 12 GB is honestly available to the user. Possible memory shortages can be compensated for with a microSD card up to 64 GB. In such a light and thin case, the Koreans managed to fit a 2300 mAh battery and, judging by the excellent software optimization, this volume will provide sufficient autonomy.

There is support for working in LTE networks and a version of the model with support for working with two SIM cards will be available on the market. The Galaxy A5 comes preinstalled with Android 4.4.4 out of the box, but the 64-bit chipset suggests an early update to Android Lollipop.

Samsung smartphones have never had any problems with cameras, and this device is no exception. The main camera is a 13-megapixel module that provides good image quality with accurate color reproduction. It can record videos in Full HD 1080p at 30fps. The tilt towards the younger consumer is evident when it comes to the front-facing camera. a 5 Megapixel camera flaunts in front, which will provide quality selfies that everyone is just obsessed with. Rich software filling will provide various effects, automatic correction and other pleasures for lovers of self-portraits.

How to Bypass FRP Lock on Samsung Galaxy Android Smartphone?

As I mentioned, we are using a different method here called the Combined Firmware Method. because we have already explained another method earlier.

This method doesn’t work on all phones, so if it doesn’t work, choose the second method.

Steps to remove FRP lock on Samsung Galaxy Android smartphone using combination flashing method

Please note that in the first method, we are not using a combined firmware, but a standard firmware file (which has 4 or 5 files zipped together). If this method does not work, go to method 2.which uses the combined flashing method.

1.First of all, you need to download the standard ROM file corresponding to your device. Make sure it contains 4 or 5 files zipped together (including BL, AP, CSC files, etc.). The downloaded file will be in “.zip” or “tar” format.

After downloading the Odin file, unzip it to your PC desktop and open the Odin.xx.exe file.

Now put your Samsung Galaxy Android smartphone into Download Mode. To enter download mode, turn off the phone and simultaneously press and hold the “Vol Down” “Home” “Power” buttons and press the “Vol Up” button. when the warning screen appears. enter “Download Mode”. The procedure may be different for some Galaxy models, so you can use the links below for more detailed guides for specific models in download mode.

In download mode, connect your Galaxy smartphone with a USB data cable. After successfully connecting, you will receive the added message from the Odin app as shown in the screenshot below.

If you don’t get confirmation please install / reinstall Samsung USB drivers from below link and try again.

Now extract the “.zip” or “tar” firmware file. which you already downloaded earlier, after extracting you will get 4 or 5 files as shown below.

After that, you can press the “AP” button and select the corresponding file (the file that starts with the name “AP”) from the extracted firmware, in the same way press “BL”, “CSC”. “,” CP “and select files. You can check the below screenshot for reference.

After that, click the “Start” button in the Odin app to start the flashing process.

Now wait for the flashing procedure to complete. After finished and rebooted everything is ready, FRP lock on your Samsung Galaxy Android smartphone will be removed successfully.

If the whole process was successful, you will receive a “Pass” message in Odin as shown in the screenshot above.

If the above method did not work on your phone, please go to the second method.

1.First, you need to turn off your Galaxy smartphone and enter it into “Download Mode”.

To enter download mode, turn off the phone and simultaneously press and hold the “Vol Down” “Home” “Power” buttons and press the “Vol Up” button. when you get the warning screen to enter “Download Mode”. The procedure may differ for some Galay models, so you can use the links below for more detailed guides for specific models in download mode.

Now load the combination file. The complete list of download links for combined files is very difficult to find, however I did find a paid service which is listed below. Wherever you download from, make sure you choose the correct binary, otherwise you might lock your device.

However, if you want to download the combined firmware for free. do a google search. For example: if you need a combination firmware for the Galaxy S8 G950F, do a Google search like this: “Galaxy S8 G950F Combination Firmware Download”. The downloaded file will be in “.zip”, “.tar” or “rar” format.

Once downloaded, extract it to your computer desktop.

Now download the Odin app from the link below.

Extract it after the download is complete.

Now open Odin.exe file and connect Samsung Galaxy smartphone with USB cable to computer.

After successfully connecting, you will receive the added message from the Odin app as shown in the screenshot below.

If you don’t get confirmation please install / reinstall Samsung USB drivers from below link and try again.

Now press the “AP” button in Odin and the application and select the combination file “tar.md5”. which you have already downloaded and extracted in “Step-2”.

After that, click the “Start” button in the Odin app and wait for the procedure to complete. Upon completion, your phone will boot with the factory binary. Now turn it off and enter recovery mode. To enter recovery mode, simultaneously press and hold the “Vol Up Home Power” buttons. The steps will be different for different models, so it’s best to check the relevant guides below.

In the next step, we are going to factory reset your phone from the recovery menu. To do this, select the “Wipe Data / Factory Reset” option from the recovery menu. Use the Vol and Vol keys. “To switch between options and use the” Power “button to confirm your selection. After a factory reset, select “Reboot System Now” from the recovery menu.

Once loaded, you will be taken to a screen similar to the one shown below.

Here click on the mosaic menu icon (marked with a red square) and you will be taken to an app drawer similar to the one on a normally loaded phone. Now click on Settings and enable the developer option there.

To enable developer options, go to “About” in the settings menu and click on “Build number”. until you see “You are now a developer”.

Now go back to the main Settings menu and you will see a new menu item called Developer Options. We tap on it and make sure that “USB Debugging” is enabled.

8.After confirmation, turn off the phone again and enter download mode again.

Now you need to download the stock firmware of your device.

Several links are given above. If your device is not listed, please search with Google. After downloading, extract it. In the extracted files, find the file that begins with “AP”. Make sure you have installed the Windows application “WinRAR” or “7-Zip” before proceeding to the next step.

Make sure you download the full firmware (files of type 4/5 that link to “AP”, “BL”, “CSC”, etc. Like archives in the main file), otherwise this method will not work.

Now right click on the file that starts with “AP” and “Open with” “WinRAR or 7-Zip”. Now extract only the marked files in the screenshot.

After that, select the file that starts with “BL” and “Open with” “WinRAR or 7-Zip”. From the archive, extract one file in the red frame to the same location where you previously extracted the 3 files.

Now zip all the extracted files into one “.tar” file. The archive will contain files “boot.img.lz4”, “system.img.lz4”, sboot.bin.lz4 “.

In the next step, I will assume that your Galaxy smartphone is already in “Download Mode” and connected to a computer where the “Odin” application is already open. So now press the “AP” button in the Odin application and select the newly zipped “.tar” file (file that is archived with “boot.img.lz4”, “system.img.lz4”, sboot.bin.lz4 “).

Now click on the Start button in the Odin app and wait for the flashing process to complete. Once the process is complete and loaded, you’re done. You can confirm the success of the process with the “PASS” message from the Odin app. FRP lock will now be removed.

Common problems you may face when trying to install combination firmware on your Galaxy Smamartphone and their solutions

Cannot open serial (com) port

Cause: This issue is most likely due to a problem with the USB driver.

Solution: Install the latest Samsung USB driver from here;

After installation, disconnect the USB cable, restart your computer and try the reprogramming steps again.

Operation completion (write) error

Reason: This is a common mistake. There can be many reasons.

Solution: So, first try the above step. If that doesn’t work, double check if USB debugging and OEM unlocking is enabled in developer options.

If none of the above solutions work, try using the patched Odin. Download the patched Odin Odin from here.

Get permission to use Factory Binary (Pit)

In fact, this is the biggest mistake of all. Some solutions are suitable for some phones and some. not. There are phones that do not even have a solution to this error yet.

Reason: New security feature in Android firmware that strictly blocks the installation of custom ROMs and combo ROMs.

Solution: You can download and try the fixed Odin from the above link to fix this issue. If that doesn’t help, try the following steps.

First, you need to back up the “PIT” file using the “Samsung Tool Pro” application (this is a paid software for Windows) and paste it into Odin by going to “PIT” in Odin and pressing the PIT button. This must be done when trying to flash with combined firmware.

If the baked PIT file does not work, try Google search for the PIT file that targets your phone.
