HP M1132 MF errors and how to fix them
Cause of error
No paper in the feed tray
Missing cartridge / incorrect installation
These problems occur with the gear or with a jammed image drum.
To eliminate the error, you will have to disassemble the cartridge and rotate all movable mechanisms. And the drum unit still needs to be lubricated with toner or talcum powder.
The internal memory of the printer is full
The paper pick-up mechanism is out of order
E6, E7, E8, E9
Critical hardware failure
E8 error on HP M1132 all-in-one printer
The E8 error on the HP M1132 all-in-one printer is the only critical malfunction that can be resolved by users with minimal office equipment maintenance skills.
In fact, this is a breakdown of the scanner, caused by a jammed lamp movement mechanism, contamination of the loop, and so on. You can’t do without a screwdriver, but the process of disassembling the device case is extremely simple.
HP M1132 all-in-one printer prints faint
Faint printing on the HP M1132 all-in-one printer may be caused by a trivial lack of toner in the complete 85A cartridge (CE285A).
Older cartridges that have been refilled with toner repeatedly produce a faint print for a variety of reasons, some of them:
- OPC drum or magnetic roller wear
- Lack of conductive grease on contacts, etc.
An experienced wizard warns these problems at the stage of cartridge maintenance. Therefore, it is important to follow all the recommendations of specialists in order to maximize the operational capabilities of printing devices and accessories.

What to do if the HP laserjet p1102 printer does not print?
Any peripheral device that makes it easier to complete many printing tasks can fail, which can reduce the quality of the processed documents. And if the HP LaserJet P1102 printer stops printing or prints faintly, there are a series of steps you can take to help you troubleshoot.
Some device models from the same manufacturer (for example, HP LaserJet 1018, HP LaserJet 1020, HP LaserJet 1022, HP LaserJet p1102) may show the same errors. Why this happens can be explained by the similarity of printing technologies. However, it will be necessary to solve the problem in each case individually.
List of basic actions
A sequential troubleshooting checklist allows you to one by one eliminate different causes of the product not printing.
Initially, if the HP LaserJet p1102 product does NOT print, you need to check all connections. If the printer is connected to a network, try starting it by enabling the start button. Next, make sure the machine is connected by cable or wirelessly to the PC. The reliability of this connection should also be checked. Then you can check the connection settings (compare the routing protocol of the device and the access point).
In cases where a printer with a wireless connection does NOT print, make sure the connection is secure. If the printer is searching, the light will blink. In this case, you can wait while it connects to the specified access point, after checking the settings and the connection path. If the LED is NOT flashing, it may indicate that there is no wireless connection. For such situations, you can force connection of the device or launch a program that will be used to set up and connect. To check how the printer is printing, you can then start printing a configuration document.
If such actions are not enough for the printer to start printing, you can contact the consumer support center, indicated the model of the device.
There are other reasons why the printer may stop functioning. First of all, this is the wrong position of the paper in the input tray. This is probably why the product is NOT printing. You also need to determine what the paper specifications are and whether it meets the consumables requirements for the HP LaserJet p1102.
On the technical side, the printer may stop printing if:
- NOT the corresponding software is installed;
- The print driver is not installed;
- The driver installed is NOT the corresponding model of the device.
In such cases, you can check why the device has failed by trying to print a configuration page. If the print does not reproduce, you should perform the same action from another PC on which the Corresponding drivers, software are installed.
How to reinstall the driver?
After eliminating hardware malfunctions (unstable line voltage, flashing light indicators, error message, etc.), it is worth trying to reinstall the driver.
You can pay 30-50% less for light, depending on what kind of electrical appliances you use.
If the HP LaserJet p1102 printer used to work, but now does NOT print, you should find a new driver, download it to your PC and prepare the printer for manipulating the drivers. First, the printing device is disconnected from the computer. Then through the “Start” you need to open the “Devices and Printers” section and remove from it the driver installed for your printer model (HP LaserJet p1102). After that, you can run the file with the driver downloaded previously and install it following the wizard’s prompt.
With your printer connected to your PC, try printing your document. If the device does NOT print again, you can reinstall the driver again or check through the operating system why the printer stopped printing.
If the device works with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8
If you are having problems with an HP printer that interacts with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8, you can use a special program developed by the manufacturers of Hewlett Packard devices. HP Print and Scan Doctor. It was created to support users of HP devices (for printing, scanning).
You can also check why the printer is not printing by checking the configuration of the print drivers. That is, if by default you have one device installed, and you use several, you need to check each time that the configurations of the access point and the device match.
If the device does not print, the correct functioning application should be checked. If you cannot print a document from the specified program, you need to check the correctness of its work. To do this, try sending a document to print from another program. For example, by typing in a “notepad” several terms Try to print them. If the operation went without problems, then the original application is not working correctly.
Printer crashes can occur due to insufficient virtual memory. In order to print a specified document, the HP LaserJet p1102 printer pre-processes it in a virtual area on a PC. If this area is not enough (not less than the declared 200 MB), the printer will produce blank sheets of paper. In order for the printer to start printing again, you can increase this volume through the OS settings (for each of them the procedure may differ).
If your machine is running Mac OS X 10.6, OS X 10.7 Lion, OS X10.8 Mountain Lion
If the printer does not print, interacting with OS Mac OS X 10.6, OS X 10.7 Lion, OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, you must also exclude connection problems, problems with the USB cable, check if the “print queue” function is disabled.
To return the printer to work, you can delete and resume the device in the printer list. To do this, the Apple sign opens and through it, users get to the “Print Settings” section. Having found the “Print and Fax” section, from it we go to “Printers” and select “Printer” (HP LaserJet p1102). After removing the device (“-“), disconnect it from the PC and restart the latter. Then you need to go through the same scheme and connect the device again, clicked “”. Try to print the page again.
If the print quality has decreased
For situations where the printer has become faint to print, it is worth rechecking the print settings with the parameters of the media used. Also, the reasons for faint printing may be hidden in the components of the cartridge and the features of the toner.
HP monochrome printers often have printing problems (the printer prints faintly) due to wear on some parts of the cartridge. First of all, this is a metering blade and a magnetic shaft, which it is desirable to change at the same time in order to extend the service life of consumables. To understand why the device prints faintly and if such parts need to be replaced, you can send a document completely filled with gray filling to print. If the result is unsatisfactory, replace the Specified Parts. After the procedure, the result should improve significantly.
Faint printing on the printer can be eliminated by replacing the drum. But this manipulation will be effective if the new drum, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, is able to attract toner more actively than the previous drum, or the drum wear cycle has almost reached the end.

The computer does not see the HP laserjet 1018 printer. How to install the HP LaserJet 1018 printer
For any modern person, it is relevant that he is surrounded by a huge amount of various documentation. These are reports, research papers, reports, and so on. The set will be different for each person. But there is one thing that unites all THESE people. the need for a printer.
Installing the HP LaserJet 1018 Printer
A similar problem can be faced by those people, and those who have not previously had any business with computer equipment, and quite experienced people who, for example, do not have a disk with drivers. Anyway, the procedure for installing a printer is quite simple, so let’s find out how it is done.
Since the HP LaserJet 1018 is a fairly simple printer, which can only print, which is often enough for the user, we will NOT consider another connection. His just comments.
- First, connect the printer to the mains. For this we need a special cord, which must be included in the set with the main device. It is easy to identify, because there is a plug on one side. There are not many places in the printer itself where such a wire can be connected, so the procedure does NOT need a detailed description.
As soon as the device starts its work, you can start connecting it to the computer. A special USB cable will help us with this, which is also included in the kit. It is already worth noting here that the cord is connected to the printer with a square side, but the familiar USB connector should be found on the back of the computer.
Next, you need to install the driver. On the one hand, the Windows operating system can already pick up standard software in its databases and even create a new device. On the other hand, such software from the manufacturer is much better, because it was developed specifically for the printer in question. That is why we insert the disc and follow the instructions of the “Installation Wizard”.
As a result, we can say that the installation of such a device is NOT a long matter at all. You just need to do everything in the correct sequence and have a complete set of necessary parts.

We solve the printer on windows 10 in a minute. Printer does not work on windows 10 we solve in a minute
Printer does not work on windows 10-01
Hello everyone today, let’s talk about the situation when the printer does not work on windows 10. After upgrading to Windows 10, many users encountered problems with their printers and all-in-one printer, which either the system does not see, or they are not detected as a printer, or simply do not print as they did in the previous OS version, the funny thing is that with each new update, the number of old devices that this operating system supports is decreasing, so DO NOT be surprised if at some point your old device does not start.
If your printer does not work properly in Windows 10, this manual contains one official and several additional methods that can help fix the problem. I will also provide additional information regarding support for printers of popular brands in Windows 10 (at the end of the article).
Diagnose printer problems from Microsoft (Print Spooler Cleanup Diagnostic Tool)
First of all, you can try the automatic solution of problems with the printer, Using the diagnostic utility in the Windows 10 control panel (Print Spooler Cleanup Diagnostic Tool), or downloaded it from the official Microsoft website (note that I do not know for sure if the result will differ, but how much could understand, both options are equivalent).
To start from the control panel, go to it, then open the Troubleshoot item,
Then in the Hardware and Sound section, select Printer Usage (another way is to go to devices and printers, and then, by clicking on Need a printer, if it is in the list, select Troubleshoot).
You can also download the file from the official Microsoft website or here to run the printer troubleshooter.
As a result, a diagnostic utility will be launched, which automatically checks for all typical problems that may interfere with the correct operation of your printer and, if such problems are found, will fix them.
Among other things, it will check: the presence of drivers and driver errors, the operation of necessary services, problems with the connection to the printer and print queue. Despite the fact that it is impossible to guarantee a positive result here, I recommend trying this method in the first place.
Adding a Printer in Windows 10
If the automatic diagnostics does not work or the printer is NOT displayed at all in the list of devices, you can try to add it manually, and for old printers in Windows 10 there are additional detection options, if windows 10 blocks the installation of the printer write a comment I will help you deliver.
Click on the notification icon and select “All options”
Printer does not work on windows 10-01
(Or you can press the Win I keys), then select “Devices”. “Printers and Scanners”.
Printer does not work on windows 10-02
Click the “Add a printer or scanner” button and wait: perhaps Windows 10 will detect the printer by itself and install drivers for it (it is desirable that the Internet is connected), perhaps not.
Printer does not work on windows 10-03
In the second case, click on the item The required printer is not in the list, which will appear under the search progress bar. You will be able to install the printer using other parameters: specify its address on the network, mark that your printer is already old (in this case, the system will search for it with the changed parameters), add a wireless printer.
Printer does not work on windows 10-04
It is possible that this method will work for your situation.
Manually Installing Printer Drivers
If so far nothing has helped, go to the official website of your printer manufacturer and find in the Support section available drivers for your printer. It’s good if they are for Windows 10. If there are none, you can try for 8 or even 7. Download them to your computer.
Before starting the installation, I recommend that you go to the Control Panel. Devices and Printers and, if there is already a printer there (i.E. It is detected, but does not work), you will right-click on it and delete it from the system. And after that, run the driver installer.
Windows 10 support information from printer manufacturers
Below I have collected information about what popular printer manufacturers and all-in-one printer write in the operation of their devices in Windows 10.
- HP (Hewlett-Packard). The company promises that most of its printers will work. The one that worked in Windows 7 and 8.1 will NOT require a driver update. In case of problems, you can download the driver for Windows 10 from the official website. Additionally, the HP website has instructions for solving problems with printers from this manufacturer in new operating systems: http://support.HP.com/en-us/document/c04755521
- Epson. promises support for printers and all-in-one printer in Windows The necessary drivers for the new system can be downloaded from the dedicated page http://www.Epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/SupportWindows10.Jsp
- Canon. according to the manufacturer, most printers will support the new OS. Drivers can be downloaded from the official website by selecting the required printer model.
- Panasonic. promises to release drivers for Windows 10 in the near future.
- Xerox. write about the absence of problems with the operation of their printing devices in the new OS.
To eradicate all problems that interfere with normal printing in your Windows 10, run Print-Spooler-Repair-Tool as administrator and press the “Repair” button, you will receive the result, in a minute, in the overwhelming majority of cases, the printer starts working as good as new.
In addition, I also advise you to clear your spooler, with this script, so that the specified.
If none of the above helped, I recommend using the Google search (and I recommend this particular search for this purpose) for a query consisting of the brand and model of your printer and “Windows 10”. It is very likely that your problem has already been discussed in some forums and a solution has been found. Do not be afraid to look at English-language sites: they come across the solution more often, and even automatic translation in the browser allows you to understand what is at stake.
Using specialized utilities
In Windows 10, the printer may NOT work for a number of reasons, another method to fix the situation is to use proprietary utilities from manufacturers, I will give an example from HP. It has the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility. You can download HP Print and Scan Doctor from the link below:
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. The algorithm is very simple in it. In the first step, it looks for installed printers, and in the second, it fixes the reason why it does not work in your Windows 10.
This is how the process of scanning the operating system for the presence of printers in it looks like.
This is how it is easy to configure a windows 10 network printer and when windows 10 does not see the HP printer. I have an HP LaserJet 400 in my system, I choose it.
After searching for problems, you are given a solution to your problem, why the printer does not work in windows 10. Next, we do what the HP Print and Scan Doctor diagnostic wizard says.
At OKI, the utility is called brmainte and can be downloaded from the link:
From Epson, EPSON Status Monitor Diagnostic Utilities
In some cases, when the printer is connected via Wi-Fi or a LAN network, SNMP network traffic from the printer may not pass from your computer, which is why it may be unavailable. The solution is to disable SNMP check.
HP LaserJet 1018 does not print how to solve the problem
What to do when the HP LaserJet 1018 printer does NOT print?
- Incorrectly installed / working software;
- Unfilled cartridges;
- Damaged USB cable or port;
- The machine is connected to the PC, but another device is installed by default.
Very often users buy a new device, but neglect its correct setting. It is not enough just to connect it to a computer, it is often necessary to change a number of options. For the HP LaserJet 1018, there is a dedicated software program that facilitates all device settings. It is suitable for at least the following models: 1018, 1020, 1022. and is called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. As a rule, it comes with the device on a separate disk. In this case, it will NOT be difficult to install it. If you DO NOT find the disc, download it from the official HP website. The application eliminates most of the software problems, loads the necessary drivers, makes basic settings for LaserJet 1018 for subsequent printing.
You can often do without Print and Scan Doctor. All Windows versions already have a convenient device manager. It can be found in the Control Panel under Printers and Faxes. There we set the default HP LaserJet 1018. After that, all files will send data to our machine by pressing the “Print” button.
Ink cartridge problems
Another common problem is the lack of ink in the device. Refueling of cartridges should be carried out regularly. In some cases, it may even be necessary to replace ink cassettes, for example, if the machine prints dirty, duplicates images and text on the sheet, leaves stains.
Carries out refueling on its own, if you DO NOT understand such devices, it is better not, since you can seriously harm the device: it is quite difficult to disassemble it and get to the ink cassettes. In any case, it will be useful to know that for the HP LaserJet family, cartridges from the 1018, 1020, 1022 models, as well as some other parts of the device, can be interchangeable. All this should be clarified with the master, who will refuel or replace cassettes.
The two previous paragraphs do not exhaust all the problems with “LaserJet 1018”. The machine may refuse to print for a number of other reasons.
For example, Broken USB cable. In this case, it is obvious that it should be replaced. Problems do not always involve the cable itself. On slower computers, the system can hardly support the use of multiple ports. Therefore, you can try to disconnect other USB devices from the PC: mouse, keyboard, removable hard drives, etc., left only the printer.
Drivers are also the culprit of trouble, or rather, their absence. Such problems are often fixed by HP Print and Scan Doctor, but nevertheless it will be useful to try downloading the necessary software yourself. To do this, go to the official website of HP and look for our LaserJet 1018 device there, then download the necessary drivers.
In addition, it will be useful to delve into the print settings. This can be done in the “Printers and Faxes” tab in the Control Panel.
- Delayed printing is set (you just need to uncheck the corresponding item)
- Incorrectly set printer port (in the “Printer Properties” window in the “Ports” tab we put the port we need, for example USB001)
- The print spooler does not work correctly (we stop this process through the Task Manager, restart the computer).
These are the main reasons why HP “LaserJet 1018” refuses to print, prints dirty and, as a result, upsets its customers. Problems can also lie under the cover of the car: then only the service center will help. In any case, first try replacing or refilling the cartridge and check the operation of the software.
4 reasons why your HP LaserJet 1018 printer might NOT print
If the HP LaserJet 1018 printer stops printing, you can contact a designated Repair Center. But, before going to the professionals, you should try to solve the problem yourself.
Reasons why the HP LaserJet 1018 printer may NOT print:
Software malfunctions HP laser jet 1018
If the HP Laserjet 1018 printer does NOT print, then the reason may lie in the wrong setting or the complete absence of it. The problem is solved using the HP Print and Scan Doctor application, which can be found in the box, or downloaded from the official HP website. The program finds and fixes all kinds of problems, installs drivers, prepares the device for the upcoming printing.
If desired, instead of the specified program, you can use the built-in device manager from Windows, located in the Control Panel. To do this, go to the “Printers and Faxes” section and set the HP Laser Jet 1018 by default. From now on, this device will be responsible for printing documents.
When the equipment stops printing, you need to check the condition of the cartridges: they may simply be out of ink. If your guess has been confirmed, the cartridge needs to be refilled. It is better to entrust the performance of this work to professionals. The printer is a complex device, and independent actions in this case can only harm.
You need to refill cartridges regularly. But the replacement of paint cassettes is carried out much less frequently. It may be required if the product smears ink on paper, duplicates text and images, etc.
Other problems with the HP laser jet 1018 printer
In addition to faulty software and empty cartridges, the device may NOT work for other reasons. For example, if the HP LaserJet 1018 does NOT pick up paper, consider:
The listed problems require the intervention of a specialist, but there are breakdowns, which can be easily eliminated with your own hands:
Defective USB cable. When the LaserJet 1018 does not work, pay attention to the cable. If it is damaged, it must be replaced. Be careful: if the computer is weak, it may NOT support the use of multiple ports at the same time. Therefore, if the indicator stops illuminating, please turn off all other devices (keyboard, mouse, flash drives, etc.). Then try again.
Lack of drivers. To determine the cause of the breakdown, you need to see if the drivers are installed on it. If not, you can use the already mentioned HP Print and Scan Doctor or download the software from the manufacturer’s website. You can also go to the “Printers and Faxes” section of the Control Panel and delve into the settings.
Thus, we tried to answer the question “The HP 1018 printer does NOT print: what to do?” To make the device less likely to fail, you need to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and refill the cartridges in a timely manner.
The computer does not see the printer via USB: how to fix it?
The reasons can be many, starting with an unconnected cable and ending with a failure in the operating system. Consider common problems and solutions. from simple to complex.
Sometimes a computer or laptop does not see the printer via USB due to a faulty cable or port or a bad connection.
- Unplug the device cable on both sides and then plug it back in.
- Check if the USB connector is working properly. Try connecting another device through it: for example, a keyboard or mouse.
- Try plugging the printer into a second USB port.
- Replace cable if possible.
Also make sure the printer is turned on. Some devices have the power button on the back or side, and users simply forget to press it. Sometimes the computer does not see the printer via USB due to such a trifle, and the solution of the issue takes literally one minute.
Check the default hardware for printing. To do this, go to the control panel, then to “Hardware and Sound”. “View devices and printers”. Right-click on the printer icon and select the “Set as default” option. In some cases, this is enough for the device to work correctly.
If the problem persists, double-click the equipment icon, in the window that opens, select the “Printer” tab and uncheck the “Pause printing” and “Work offline” items. Also click on “Clear Print Queue”.
If that doesn’t help, go to the control panel, select “Small icons” from the “View” menu, go to the “Administration” tab and open “Services”. In the window that appears, you need to find the “Print Manager” service and set the automatic startup type.
If the service is stopped, also click the Start button and then print a test page.
It happens that the computer does not see the printer via USB due to the lack of a driver or due to improperly installed or outdated software.
Go to the manufacturer’s official website, download the driver for your device from there and install it. Then restart your computer and try to print a test page.
If you accidentally installed an unsuitable driver through the control panel, go to the “Device Manager”, find the necessary hardware there, go to its properties, then to the “Driver” tab and click on the “Uninstall” button. After that, install the new software downloaded from the manufacturer’s official website.
If the device does not connect to your computer via USB and all of the above methods did not resolve the issue, the problem may be in the hardware itself. Try connecting your device to a second computer or laptop. If the problem occurs again, the best option is to take the printer to a service center for specialists to test and repair it.
Connecting and Configuring a Network Printer in Windows 7/10
It is difficult to imagine a local network of an office or home without all sorts of peripheral devices. The most common among them is a printer, which allows you to print text documents or some kind of graphic information. The question arises how to provide access to such a printing device from any of the computers on the network. There is an option when buying an expensive printer that can connect directly to the router / router via Wi-Fi or cable. This is a good solution, but for a small network, for example, a home one, it does not seem optimal. A more suitable option in this case is to make a network printer connected to one of the PC network. We will tell you how it is implemented.
But first, let’s repeat the initial data. So, we have several computers connected to one network using a Wi-Fi router. A printer is connected to one of the computers via a standard USB cable (in our case, an HP LaserJet M1132 all-in-one printer). The task is to configure the printer so that it can print documents from any PC.
Installing and Configuring a Network Printer in Windows 7/10
First, let’s perform the necessary actions on a computer directly connected to the printer. It is assumed that the printing device is installed correctly and works correctly without a network connection. It will be enough for us to simply SHARE the printer in approximately the same scheme as the shared access to folders. However, first you should make sure that the corresponding option is enabled in Windows, which allows you to make folders and printers public. To do this, go to Control Panel. Network and Sharing Center, and then on the left click on the link “Change advanced sharing settings”.
We are making sure that the “Enable network discovery” and “Enable file and printer sharing” options are active.
Basically, if before that the computer was already working on the network and files were shared, then these options must be enabled.
Now go to Control Panel. Devices and Printers. Find our printer, right-click on it and select “Printer Properties”.
Next, go to the “Access” tab and put a check mark next to the “Share this printer” option. Let’s set the network name of the device. it must be without spaces. We named the printer HP_LaserJet_M1132_all-in-one printer.
Save settings with OK.
How to connect a network printer to other computers
Adding a Printer in Windows 10
Let’s try to add our printer to the list of devices on a laptop with Windows 10, connecting to a network via Wi-Fi. We go to the same section Control Panel. Devices and Printers. At the top, click on the “Add Printer” button.
The computer will start searching for devices and will most likely NOT find anything. Therefore, we click on the link “The required printer is not in the list”.
In the next window, set the radio button to “Select a shared printer by name” and enter the network path in the format \\ computer_name \ printer_name. We got it like this: \\ WINCOMP \ HP_LaserJet_M1132_all-in-one printer.
Click “Next”. Connection and driver search will start.
If drivers are found, the following message will appear.
Click “Install Driver”. After a while, the software will be installed and a window will appear informing about the successful installation of the network printer.
Click “Next” and then “Finish”.
You can also print a test page, which we did.
Now our HP LaserJet M1132 all-in-one printer appears in the “Printers” section, completely ready to work over the network.
Adding a Printer in Windows 7
Let’s install a network printer on one more computer, this time a stationary one with the Windows 7 operating system. Go to the already familiar page “Devices and Printers” and click the “Add Printer” button.
In the window that appears, select “Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer”.
After an unsuccessful search, click on the link “The required printer is not in the list”.
We put the switch next to the item “Select a shared printer by name” and, in the same way as in the case of a laptop, we register the network path.
In our case, the connection started, but soon a message appeared that the driver could not be installed.
This happened due to the fact that the 64-bit version of Windows 7 was installed on the original computer connected to the printer with a cable and, accordingly, the drivers were selected specifically for it. At the same time, the 32-bit version of the system is installed on the PC on which we want to add a network printer. To solve the problem, you need to go to the official website of the device manufacturer and download the latest drivers for your operating system bit. Then you should unpack the archive with the drivers into any folder, click the “OK” button in the message window and specify the path to the directory. After installing the software, the network printer installation is completed successfully.
The product appears in the Printers and Faxes list.
Problems Setting Up a Network Printer
We have already discussed one problem with drivers above. In order not to encounter similar problems when connecting the printer to a user PC, it is necessary to install drivers on it for all versions of Windows at once during the initial setup of the host computer (connected to the printer by a USB cable). Then, when adding a printer to each new computer, the necessary files will be downloaded automatically over the network, as we did with a laptop. To install drivers on the “Access” tab, find and click “Additional drivers.”
Then put the necessary checkboxes and click “OK”.
Another problem when installing a network printer has traditionally been related to custom resolution. They are set on the “Security” tab. In theory, if the permission to print is defined for the “Everyone” group, then no additional difficulties should arise when connecting new users.
If you do NOT want to bother with access rights and do NOT understand this, then just create a home group with a password (Control Panel. Homegroup) and include all computers in it that should have access to a network printer.
