How to make a big “Kinder Surprise” out of paper

print, inscription, kinder, surprise, printer

You can make such a surprise with your own hands. It is not difficult at all, especially if you know all the secrets and subtleties. The egg is made of paper using papier-mâché technique, or rather waving. In addition, you can make this gift personalized, which will be doubly pleasant.

Stages of work

So, we start making “Kinder Surprise”. It should be borne in mind that, although this work is simple and even for beginners who have never worked with papier-mâché, it will take a lot of time. About 4-5 days. Since it will be necessary to dry all layers of paper well so that the testicle does not deform later. Therefore, you need to start not on the eve of the celebration, but a little earlier. We will make “Kinder” in the following sequence.

We inflate the balloon. We tie it tightly with a thread. We leave the thread longer, do not cut it short. We still need it.
2. Cut out the inscription “Kinder Surprise”, each word separately. If you have a color printer, you can immediately print the letters in color. If not, we take black and white and paint ourselves. You can also print out the name of the child or the person to whom you will be giving the gift. We also carefully cut it out.

Advice: in the process of work, I realized that it is better to tear the paper with your hands. So the edges are thinner and then the joints are not so noticeable.

Glue the first layer of paper to the ball using plain water. Put the prepared pieces of the leaf in a bowl of water. Apply one piece of paper to the ball with a slight overlap. For convenience, you can put the ball in a mug or jar with the “tail” down. We cover the entire ball with paper, leaving only its tip uncovered. Then you will need to remove the ball through this hole.

When the first layer is dry, proceed to applying the second. To reduce the cost and simplify the process, you can use not only A4 sheets, but also any other paper: toilet paper, napkins, paper towels. The inner layers will not be visible, and with the help of a soft material it will be possible to correct the resulting irregularities, and it is more convenient to work with it.
Advice:it is better not to use newspapers and printed materials. The paint will get wet and then bleed through the top layers. And it can ruin the whole work.
Now it is better to replace PVA glue with flour paste. It is much easier and more convenient to work with it. It does not stick to your hands, but glues perfectly. You need to take paper, generously coat it with paste with your hands, apply an overlap and level everything on top.
Paste recipe:

  • – 2 tablespoons flour,
  • – 200 ml of water.

Gradually add water to the flour, stirring it thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Put on low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. The paste should not boil.
You can store flour paste in the refrigerator. It does not lose its adhesive properties for 3 days. But it’s easier to cook fresh every time. It’s a matter of five minutes.

Hang the egg back up to dry. When the third coat is dry, apply the fourth coat in the same way and dry again. It is best to make at least 4-5 layers, so that the “Kinder” eventually keeps its shape and does not bend under the weight of the gifts inside it. The last layer should be white paper.

When the last layer of papier-mâché is completely dry, remove the ball. Just hold it by the “tail” and cut it with scissors. It deflates and peels off easily from the paper.

Papier-mâché technique

To create a package in the form of a large egg, you need to make papier-mâché. This technique involves gluing paper onto a template. an object that needs to be reshaped. In this case, you need the shape of a huge egg, which can be achieved with a balloon.

The papier-mâché technique was invented in China, from where it spread to France and became famous throughout the world. Initially, it became popular in France thanks to decorative products from China and Japan, which quickly attracted attention and became popular in Europe.

Cooking an egg in a mold

First you need to prepare the chocolate mass. To do this, you should:

  • Break dark chocolate bars into small slices, put them in a deep bowl and place in a water bath.
  • Stir with a spoon or spatula and wait until the chocolate is completely melted. The mass must be removed from the heat and allowed to cool to room temperature. It must be viscous and uniform.
  • Fill the syringe with the cooled chocolate and apply the chocolate evenly to the walls of the mold.
  • Put the mold in the refrigerator for 1-1.5 hours.
  • While the chocolate is cooling, melt the white chocolate.
  • Take out the mold, fill the syringe with white chocolate and cover the sides of the egg with a second layer. You need to try to touch the mold with your hands as little as possible so that the chocolate does not melt from their heat. Be sure to use gloves.
  • Put in the refrigerator again for 1 hour.
  • Ready egg ladles need to be removed from the mold, put a surprise in one half. Pre-wash toys and other inedible gifts with soap and water and rinse with clean water.
  • Heat a spoon in hot water and run the back side along the edge of the egg halves, connect them.
  • Lubricate the bonding with the remnants of dark chocolate so that the halves stick together.

The egg is ready. To achieve a complete resemblance to a factory kinder surprise, you should wrap it. For this you need foil. From it you need to cut two blanks in the shape of an egg, adding 10 cm to them from the edges. Put the egg on one piece, bend the edges. Cover the second on top, press lightly. Stick the inscription “Kinder surprise” on top, and the sweet gift is ready.

Large plaster kinder surprise

This egg has a special advantage. it is very durable. After unpacking the gift, the child will be able to use it as a casket or toy house.

To prepare such a kinder surprise, you will need:

  • dry gypsum mixture;
  • water;
  • paper;
  • glue;
  • spatula or spoon;
  • small hand saw or long paper knife;
  • balloon;
  • 4 magnets for needlework;
  • gloves;
  • sandpaper,
  • gouache or acrylic paints, inscriptions and pictures for decoration.

The balloon should be inflated to a suitable size and tied with a strong thread. Tear the paper into small pieces, saturate with glue and glue the ball in 2-3 layers. After each layer, you need to wait until the glue is completely dry, and only then apply the next one. When the top layer is dry, use a knife to cut a small hole, pierce the ball and pull out its scraps. Cover the hole with paper so that the gypsum mixture does not get inside.

The plaster mix must be prepared following the instructions on the package. It is important to strictly observe the proportions of the dry mixture and water, otherwise the solution will turn out to be too liquid or too viscous. The solution instantly solidifies, so you need to act quickly: apply it on the egg with a thin layer and smooth it out. You need to work with gloves: the gypsum mixture sticks to your hands.

When the gypsum is dry, you can proceed to processing the egg:

  • Sand the surface of the egg with an emery paper, using neat circular movements, to achieve smoothness.
  • Cut or saw the egg. It is more convenient to make a transverse cut, closer to the narrow side of the egg. Get 2 details: a deep container and a lid.
  • Glue 2 magnets inside the egg next to the cut, placing them one opposite the other. Glue 2 more magnets to the lid, placing them opposite the magnets in the egg.
  • Cover the magnets with paper.
  • Paint an egg, stick labels and pictures.

  • water;
  • printouts or pictures for decoration.

To get an egg that looks like a factory one, you need to pick up a picture with a corporate inscription. But it is much more pleasant to receive not a simple gift, but an individual, personalized one. The name of the child can be pasted next to the corporate inscription, and inside the egg you can put a postcard signed on behalf of the creators of the kinder surprise. • Dilute PVA with water in a ratio of 1: 1 or 1: 2. The glue for papier-mâché should be similar in consistency to milk. Too liquid will not be sticky enough, too viscous will make the mass thick.
  • Tear the paper finely, sprinkle a thin layer on the bottom of the bowl. Fill with glue so that it covers all the paper.
  • Pour the next layer of paper on top, fill with glue, making sure that there are no dry gaps.
  • Repeat until plate is full of paper-glue mixture.
  • Lightly tamp the mixture with your hands to compact it and expel air bubbles. Pour a thin layer of glue on top.
  • Place a plate of mixture in a cool place overnight.
  • In the morning, check the readiness of the mixture by stirring it with a spoon. The paper should soften, making the mixture smooth.
  • If there are dense lumps or dry scraps of paper in the mixture, you need to add glue and leave it for another night.

The ready-made mass for papier-mâché can be used within 2-3 days. If it starts to dry out, you need to add glue and mix, achieving uniformity.

Now you can move on to creating a kinder surprise:

  • Inflate the balloon, tie it tightly with a thread. The ball should be egg-shaped: rounded, slightly elongated.
  • Place the ball in a bowl for easier application of the mixture.
  • Cut dry paper into strips, moisten with water and paste over the surface of the ball. This must be done quickly, otherwise the water will dry out and the paper will come off. To prevent this from happening, during operation, the glued strips should be lightly sprayed with water.
  • The ball should be completely covered with paper. The strips should be glued with an overlap, additional pieces of paper should be glued to the joints on top of the main layer.
  • Start applying papier-mâché to the damp paper. Move from top to bottom, applying the mass in small portions and spreading in a thin layer.
  • The mixture needs to cover the entire ball, leaving only the tail outside. Leave the egg overnight to dry the glue and papier-mâché to become strong. You cannot remove the ball from the bowl. the mass may drain down.
  • The papier-mâché on the top of the ball will dry out faster, so turn the ball over after 2-3 hours. This will allow the mass to dry evenly. The process will speed up if you put the ball next to a radiator or other heat source.
  • When the papier-mâché is completely dry, you can apply another layer on top for strength. Before applying, moisten the bottom layer with glue, otherwise the top layer will fall off.
  • The finished egg can be processed with sandpaper. its surface will become perfectly smooth. But if the wrapping paper sticks on top, you can leave it like that.
  • Cut off the tail of the balloon to release air from it. Cover the hole with paper.
  • Carefully cut the egg in half or cut a door through which the gift can be placed.
  • Remove the remaining ball from the walls of the egg.

Now you can start decorating. The egg must be primed with white paint on all sides. When it is dry, paint it as you wish, or repeat the drawing from the original packaging. Wait until the paint is completely dry and stick on the decals. To make the egg look more festive, you can decorate it with rhinestones, stickers, ribbon bows.

You need to put a surprise inside the finished egg, connect the halves (or put the door in place) and carefully glue them with tape. Place the gluing together with a beautiful ribbon.

Big Kinder Surprise with your own hands

Big Kinder SURPRISE with your own hands

Big Kinder Surprise is every child’s dream. Today I want to tell you how to make a big Kinder Surprise with your own hands. In fact, it is very simple to make it, and there will be no limit to the joy of such a testicle. And most importantly, you can fill the egg with those toys and sweets that will be of interest to your child.

For work we need:

ball (regular pear-shaped, the larger the ball, the larger the kinder will turn out);

printout of the inscription “Kinder surprise”, I used it in color (I found the inscription on the Internet).

We inflate the balloon to the size that you want to make Kinder, put the balloon on some kind of stand (I used a cup).

Pour water into a plate and dip our newspaper leaves (pre-cut into squares) in water.

We glue wet leaves on a ball in one layer (without glue).

We coat with glue 1 layer, and glue the 2 layer, but already with white paper.

We coat the second layer with glue, and glue the third layer.

Now let the egg dry (I had 2 days).

Then I started to decorate the egg “Kinder Surprise”.

First, we cut out our pre-printed inscription “Kinder surprise”, it is not necessary to cut out the letters, you can cut out the entire inscription “Kinder” and separately the whole “Surprise”, and then a blue rectangle with the words “milk-cocoa”.

Trying on our inscriptions and with a simple pencil outline where we will draw the orange “Skirt” of the egg.

Draw a “skirt” with a simple pencil (you can take a real kinder egg and sketch from it or spy on the Internet) and draw a drop on the skirt, then take orange paint (I mixed red and orange for a more accurate color). Gently outline the skirt and the drop along the contour (we leave the drop white, it is not necessary to paint over it, paint over the skirt with paint.

As everything has dried up, we glue our Kinder surprise inscription with PVA glue (again, look at a real egg and glue according to the pattern).

The whole egg is ready! It remains only to fill it with gifts, for this we cut out the door behind, fold the gifts and sweets and fasten with a ribbon.

This will dry the mass evenly.

Cooking an egg with a ball

To prepare an egg, you need a sturdy ball without patterns. It needs to be washed and dried from the inside (it is convenient to do this with a hair dryer). Prepare the chocolate mass and start creating the egg:

  • Remove the tip from the syringe, pull the ball over it. Pull out the piston and inflate the ball to the desired size.
  • Pour chocolate into the ball with a spoon.
  • The filled ball must be carefully tied and rotated until the chocolate is evenly distributed along the walls.
  • The ball must be placed on a plate with its tail up.
  • Prepare white chocolate.
  • When the ball hardens, remove the workpiece.
  • Cut off the top, remove the ball, being careful not to damage the walls of the egg.
  • Spread the white chocolate on the sides, be sure to spread the top too.
  • Put it back in the refrigerator.
  • Put a gift in the finished egg, connect and fasten the halves.
  • Pack a kinder surprise, as in the first cooking option, or come up with your own packaging option.

For work we need:

ball (regular pear-shaped, the larger the ball, the larger the kinder will turn out);

printout of the inscription “Kinder surprise”, I used it in color (I found the inscription on the Internet).
