By default, the computer checks the digital signature before installing the driver and only then uses it. This provides a higher level of security.
But sometimes it is advisable to disable driver signature verification.
For example, if the developer has discontinued support for a device and there is no “official” driver for new versions of Windows for it. And the driver that we managed to find does not have a signature and the computer “refuses” to install it. The risk of negative consequences, of course, increases, but if there is no other option and you are ready to take the risk, then why not try it? Well, don’t throw away a working device just because there is no “signed” driver!
There are several ways to disable verification.
In the process of setting up your computer, you may need to completely remove a specific driver. This may be necessary in case of replacing a video card or some other computer device with a new one, installing a new driver instead of the “problematic” old one, and in other similar situations.
For example, NVidia, one of the main developers of video cards, recommends completely removing the previous ones from the computer before installing new drivers for its devices.

How to enable, disable and configure WPS (QSS) on a router?
Let’s take a look at the basic settings for Wi-Fi Protected Setup on routers from different manufacturers. There are practically no settings there. Basically, this is disabling the technology (since it is enabled by default). and changing the PIN code.

When the WPS function is activated, the indicator on the router will most likely start blinking. The power indicator on the ASUS router is blinking. Some routers have a separate indicator, usually in the form of a padlock. The function is activated for a while, then the indicator stops flashing. It can be reactivated simply by pressing the button.

Everything is very simple here. Open the list of networks available for connection on the computer, select the required network, and click on the “Connect” button.

Using the WPS protocol
The easiest way to connect a printer via Wi-Fi is to use the WPS method, which, although not very secure, provides a fairly stable connection. When setting up the printer, in this case, neither the network name nor its access code is required.
- Printer and router must support WPS technology.
- The wireless network must be secured with WPA or WPA2 (WEP will not work). Since these two encryption standards are the recommended and most used, there will be no problems with their choice.
- Disable MAC address filtering on the router.
How can you tell if your printing device supports a WPS connection? The most logical way is to look in the specification or on the manufacturer’s official website.
If you have determined that the WPS connection is not an unknown technology for your printing device, then you can proceed to the process of establishing a connection via a wireless network.
To connect via WPS, you need a PIN code, which can be found on a sticker located on the bottom of the printer. The PIN must be eight digits and located next to the WPS icon.
The next step is to enable WPS on your router. You can find an item that allows you to carry out this operation in the router interface on the “Wireless” or “Wi-Fi” tab. Use the built-in search to find the item you want faster. Enable WPS and save the new router configuration.
On some models of the router there is a hardware key, pressing which activates the WPS function. If you have such a router, be sure to press this button before attempting to pair the devices. A similar button can be on the printer. you also need to press it.

How to view your recent print history
Although your printer’s queue allows you to view print jobs, it is limited to the latest documents. If you want a complete log of all recently printed documents, you’re out of luck. You can’t count on your printer’s queue to do this.

- First press the Windows key, search for “Run”, then launch the application.
