Samsung TVs 43 inches which series is better

Samsung QE55Q60TAU

Samsung 55 ” (140 cm) QLED TV. All parameters of the 2020 model correspond to the most current trends in the production of TVs. Judge for yourself: here and 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840×2160), and support for an extended dynamic range of the HDR10 format, and a native display refresh rate of 100 hertz (with an index of dynamic scenes of 3100), and Smart TV running the proprietary Tizen platform.

With all its many advantages, a TV is not so expensive: they ask for only 59,000 rubles for a nice and productive device. and this does not include discounts!

Samsung QE65Q60RAU

This model of Samsung QLED TV was released in 2019, but it will not lose its relevance for a long time. Thanks to the matrix made on the basis of the proprietary technology of quantum dots, the TV produces an extremely bright and contrasting (by LED standards) picture. With a diagonal of 65 inches, the TV supports a resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels and a hardware refresh rate of the display of 200 hertz (excluding software improvements), so the image is clear and vivid even during the most dynamic scenes.

There is no point in mentioning the Smart TV functionality and good built-in sound. Great TV, which definitely costs its 100,000 rubles.

Samsung UE43TU7090U

The ultra-thin and nearly bezel-less Samsung TV with a diagonal of 43 inches (109 cm). The screen supports 4K UHD resolution at 3840 by 2160 pixels. HDR technology is represented by HDR10 format. The native refresh rate of the screen is 100 Hz, and the index of dynamic scenes, thanks to software tweaks, was brought up to 1300, so the device is ideal for video games and movies, and not just for watching TV. Smart TV is built on the proprietary Tizen platform.

A cute, smart and modern TV without any serious flaws will cost you only 26,500 rubles.

Samsung UE32T5300AU

A budget TV Samsung TV with a diagonal of 32 inches (81 cm). Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels) is no longer considered the latest technology, but for such a relatively small display, it is more than enough. at least if you do not watch TV completely at close range. The intrinsic refresh rate of 50 hertz is complemented by software “enhancers”, which provide an index of dynamic scenes equal to 1000. The picture is supplemented by a smart Smart TV based on the Tizen operating system.

The only thing that this TV can find fault with is the rather weak built-in speakers, which in total give out 10 watts of power. However, the modest one makes this device an excellent choice for a small room, kitchen. or summer cottage.

Smart TV technology

This technology turns the TV into a very large tablet. It is very convenient for those who cannot imagine their life without the Internet. Formally, Smart TV technology allows the TV to carry out the same functions that are available to smartphones and other “smart” devices, but in practice everything is not so rosy.

Firstly, TVs do not play some media file formats, and there is simply no way to install the necessary codecs.

Secondly, it is unusual and not very convenient to control games from the remote control, and not all games will go to Smart TV.

Thirdly, due to insufficient equipment power, performance problems may arise, and the equipment upgrade in the TV is simply not provided.

However, if you just need to surf the web and watch videos online, then Smart TV will provide this entertainment. Although you will have to pay extra for having this pleasure on TV.

Samsung UE32T4510AU

Another Samsung TV, the main. but far from the only. advantage of which is its attractive appearance. Rare nowadays, a white case with thin frames immediately catches the eye, so in a small room or in a light-colored kitchen this device will look just right. The 32-inch screen produces a good picture with a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels at a natural frequency of 50 hertz (the index of dynamic scenes, at the same time, is equal to 900, that is, even the fastest action will definitely not be blurred). A duo of speakers with a total power of 20 watts is responsible for the sound, and the proprietary Tizen operating system is responsible for the Smart functions.

Nice and inexpensive model, for which they ask for a very reasonable 17,500 rubles.

Samsung TVs 2019

Samsung in 2019 will focus even more on its development of “QLED”. quantum dot LCD TVs. Also this year there will be new liftestyle models. The Frame and Serif TV. Another feature of Samsung’s 2019 lineup will be the 8K TV. The main part of the line will be 4K LCD models with LED backlighting and local dimming.

Features of the 2019 lineup

Samsung expands its stake on “QLED” LCD TVs in 2019.

The company is launching new high-quality 4K TVs called the Q90R, Q85R, Q80R, Q70R and Q60R, which range in screen sizes from 43 to 82 inches. The firm also has a new 8K model called the Q950R. 8K TVs will be available in sizes up to 98 inches.

samsung, inches, which, series

In the mid-market segment, Samsung is launching a line of RU TVs with 4K resolution and the latest features from the Tizen platform, which offers access to apps such as Amazon, HBO, Netflix and YouTube. Tizen has reached version 5.0, but models from previous years will not be updated to the latest software version.

The Tizen operating system, which runs on all Samsung TVs, gets new features every year. This year Samsung is adding support for voice control via external devices using Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The TVs also come with built-in Bixby, which is Samsung’s own voice assistant. However, Bixby is only supported in a few regions and different languages.

In addition, Tizen has a built-in Samsung Smart-Things platform for the Internet of Things. and this year the company is introducing a new Ambient mode that displays decorative images when the TV is not in use.

An exciting new partnership with Apple was announced at CES 2019 in January. The partnership will bring some Apple TV features to Samsung TVs 2018 and 2019, notably Apple AirPlay 2, which allows a user to stream videos, music and photos from an iPhone, iPad or Mac wirelessly to a Samsung TV.

Samsung Q950R, Q90R and Q85R will be equipped with an external “One Connect” I / O box. The box connects to the TV using an elegant and discreet fiber optic cable that carries data and power. Fewer models are equipped with the One Connect box this year compared to last year, where it was available starting with the Q7.

In addition to the mainstream models, Samsung is launching new lifestyle TVs. Frame 2019 and Serif TV 2019 are upgraded versions, now with improved LCD panels and the latest Tizen functionality.

Curved TVs are being phased out. Only one curved model RU (RU7300) was announced. Most other TV makers have ditched curved TVs altogether.

In terms of image quality, Samsung has developed a new LCD panel with improved viewing angles. Q Ultra Wide Angle, or Ultra Viewing Angle in some regions, can be found in the Q80R, Q85R, Q90R and Q950R.

Narrow viewing angles are a problem with VA LCD panels, which Samsung uses on most of its TVs, but Samsung’s new filter has been able to reduce contrast degradation and color fading.

This year Samsung is also applying zone-by-zone LED backlight dimming. sometimes called full array local dimming or FALD. for more LCD models that will be able to reproduce HDR in one form or another. Unlike side-lit LCD models, which do not provide acceptable HDR picture quality. However, the number of shade zones varies from one model to the next. The Q90R will compare to last year’s Q9FN, while the Q85R, Q80R and Q70R will have significantly fewer dimming zones.

Samsung supports the basic HDR10 format as well as HLG and its own HDR10 format. designed as an alternative to Dolby Vision, which Samsung continues to avoid.

Several competitors have also added support for the Dolby object audio format in TVs this year, but while Samsung is supporting Dolby’s soundbar efforts, TVs will not support Atmos.

The world’s largest TV maker will start gradually rolling out HDMI 2.1 in 2019, but initially only for 8K TVs. Unlike its main competitor, Samsung’s new 4K TVs won’t have HDMI 2.1 ports.

There is support for the only HDMI 2.1 feature that HDMI 2.0 ports can support, namely ALLM (Low Latency Auto Mode), which means TVs can automatically switch to Game Mode when a game is loaded on Xbox One. Playstation 4 does not support ALLM.

When it comes to gaming, the TVs support AMD FreeSync 2 for a smoother, tear-free gaming experience. The game console or PC must also support FreeSync. Xbox One currently supports the system, but Playstation 4 does not.

FreeSync is a so-called adaptive sync technology designed to ensure that game console and TV are perfectly synchronized in real time in terms of frame rate / refresh rate. This is useful because game consoles are not capable of rendering game graphics at a constant frame rate as you move around the game world.

Samsung 2019 Q models also have a Quantum Processor. which takes advantage of “artificial intelligence”. It’s basically an algorithm that adapts based on the composition of the image in the video to apply artificial sharpening, color enhancement, etc. Samsung says the processor has been improved this year.

New TVs come with built-in TV tuners and, in some regions, with a dual tuner that allows the user to record one TV channel while watching another. TVs are also equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.

Samsung is expected to release more affordable TVs in the RU6 series and earlier later this year.
